Zsigmond Weisz received his dental technician diploma in 1910. From 1914, he participated in the work of the National Association of Dental Technicians. Starting in 1923, with brief interruptions, he was a member of the editorial board of the Dental Technology Review and occasionally served as its editor-in-chief. He was one of the most knowledgeable dental technicians of his time.
He gave lectures at numerous congresses and professional courses. His book was used for years not only in dental technician training but also in university education.
His son, István Fehér, was one of the founders of the Dental Technology Cooperative and a pioneer in dental manufacturing. He was a master dental technician and later became a certified dentist. He was primarily a practical professional who practiced the art of dentistry instinctively.
His grandson, István’s son, Tibor, the third generation, received his dentistry diploma in 1974. In 1980, he settled in Austria, and two years later in Germany. There he became acquainted with gnathology. He read everything written on the subject and continuously educated himself. In 1990, he filed several inventions related to gnathology.
